What Is a Dental Crown in Santa Ana?

A dental crown in Santa Ana is a “cap” that is placed over a tooth and used to restore the tooth’s shape, strength, and appearance. With a dental crown, Santa Ana residents who are self-conscious about their smile can enjoy natural-looking and stronger teeth. When cemented in place, a dental crown in Santa Ana fully encases the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line.

When Is a Dental Crown for Santa Ana Residents Needed?

If you’re looking for a way to restore a tooth that has been damaged in some way, opt for a dental crown. Santa Ana patients should know that crowns are an effective solution for a wide range of dental problems. For instance, a dental crown for Santa Ana residents can protect a weak tooth from breaking.

When you have a tooth that is already broken or has been severely worn down, a dental crown for Santa Ana patients can restore it. A dental crown for Santa Ana residents is also useful for covering and supporting a tooth with a large filling when there isn’t a lot of enamel left. A popular choice among adults, Invisalign® is a treatment that can straighten your teeth. This offers the same results without the inconvenience of metal brackets of wires. Your aligners will be replaced around every two weeks as your teeth adjust.

Pediatric Dentistry
It is important for children to have a positive experience when they visit a dental clinic. At Petri Dental, we impart good oral hygiene to help our young patients prevent possible dental issues. We use interactive tools, such as models and computer simulations, to educate them.
